📌 What Does Monsoon Withdrawal Mean?
Monsoon withdrawal does not mean rainfall stops immediately. IMD considers several indicators, including sustained reduction in rainfall, establishment of an anticyclone in the lower atmosphere and a significant reduction in atmospheric moisture.
